Dreaming You
by Tigris Powers
Let me dream you for a moment
no words, no sounds, no names
A deep affecting silence wraps
all that would define and contain
I hold this emptiness and wait
as a vessel does crave water
To give form to lucid matter
allowing it to flow more freely
where it otherwise could not go.
Images will begin to enter then
not faces and memories future.
Visions upon visions birthing
creation into tangibility. See
not eyes to hold you without
and ears that cling to noise
blocking truth
I birth you not the world in
more among the humanness of
consciousness, desire and need
Speak to it before it calls to you
Answer not as much as name
All acknowledgement is present within your outward and
dependent frame
Remember as I dream this dream--
Don't forget your breath. Just breathe.
