Featured Spirit Child Messages
Kaia
The following message was channeled from a spirit that I have named, "Kaia". Her mother had reached a point of frustration and was concerned that she wasn't connecting with her six year old daughter successfully. She could sense that her daughter was not happy, but did not know why. This is a portion of Kaia's message.
This is not what I want. This is not what I wanted. I feel as if someone has placed me within a box and I cannot climb out. There is too much going on around me. I cannot concentrate. I need focused attention but my mind is too easily pulled from one place to another. I need help keeping it in place. I need help.
I came into this world with a gift for multi-dimensional focus. This is a gift that will lend itself to creative expression in many forms. However, it does not lend itself to the typical methods of learning. When my mind is asked to focus on just one thing, I feel that I have been placed in the box. I feel shut off from the rest of my mind.
To give a visual image of what my mind is like…imagine a system of wheels that turn in various directions, yet they all work together to create a current of water. If all the wheels are forced to turn in the same direction, the system will not work in the same way because each wheel is responsible for the timing, speed, force and directional flow of the water. When they all turn together and in the same timing, they do not direct the water in the most effective way. This is how my mind works to process information.
Not only do I process information on the mental plane, I am also simultaneously processing information on the psychic and etheric planes. For this reason, my mind is always processing multiple levels of information at once. Because of this, I can actually focus on one thing better if I am receiving multiple sources of stimulation.
The way that my mind works will not change. What can help me is the way in which information is presented to me. I can learn to be in the world, but I will not always be comfortable in every situation. When I am expected to learn and retain information, there must be a different way to teach me.
The various levels of my mind would benefit from the combination of music, visual stimulation, physical stimulation and language. This method of learning can be called “active learning”. The truth is that too much pressure is being placed upon the mind alone to learn and retain information. Although the mind is capable of holding a vast amount of information, in this age of evolution there is too much information bombarding the mind every second of the day.
As humans continue to evolve, the mind is seeking to displace some of the pressure. As a result, many children coming into the world are active learners. We use our body and all of our senses to learn, rather than just our minds. Humans have always had this ability, but they have not always used it. As a result, the human mind has become the “independent worker”. In order for the human mind to move forward in this world, it must be relieved of its total responsibility and begin to work in union with the rest of the resources that are available. This is about survival.
I am not like you were at my age. All children coming into the world are not like children were twenty years ago, even ten years ago. The way we are taught must also be different than the way children were taught in the past. I cannot be placed in a box and be expected to excel. I am asking you to help me break through the walls so that I can move freely and move ahead the way that is intended for me.
I want you to know that you have done nothing wrong. We have just been communicating in different languages, so to speak. I love you and you love me. This does not change. When I am frustrated, I feel that I have nowhere to turn. Understanding is the key that will help us through.
