Fertile Realization
by Tigris Powers
My heart laughs as irredescent
spirited torpedoes speed overhead
in search of vibrant sweetness.
Intent in such directed pursuit
their lightness overflows through me.
I'm left to ponder the idiosyncrasies
that pull me always to the ground.
The blossom of life bursts open.
Gooey fluid exudes most charming
to await the most delicate of wing.
My senses flourish with potency
as swiftly flight does consume me.
Grasp I not the nearrest limb calling
the poetry of comfort to my name.
Across the wind my knowing rests
on unfaltering petals of intuition.
Spirited away by my untold desire
to taste the permeating rawness
belonging to the soil of my soul.
Consumed with awe, I can only float.
The tiniest bit of life does lift me
a hum that buzzes against the wind.
The tiniest bit of hope does fill me
and I rest here in brilliant surrender.
